Permissive Paths

The permissive footpaths south and west of Saltford, which had been closed at the end of 2013 following the withdrawal of subsidy for public access by DEFRA, were re-opened to the public at the end of 2014. We hope most of you have enjoyed walking, running and riding on these paths at some point over the last year.

Last year Saltford Community Association once again raised £3,000 from you the public, to keep the permissive footpaths around the village open until the end of October 2019. A huge thank you to everyone who donated.

We are now launching our appeal to keep the 4.5km of pathways open for the following year and once again need your support to raise £3000.  Remember if we can’t raise this amount, the paths will shut probably for ever!

This SCAN includes a donation envelope for completion and return to a number of addresses around the village. If you can, please complete the front of the envelope so that we can claim Gift Aid.  Please consider a donation to the SCA of £25 or more.

You can pay by cash or cheque to Saltford Hall, Wedmore Road, Saltford, BS31 3BY or by paypal to chair@saltfordhall.co.uk.

Please state that the donation is for the Paths, SCA or Saltford Community Library/PO use.
